GREENFIELD — Downtown Greenfield will be buzzing with activity this weekend. Food Truck Friday will happen on the courthouse plaza Friday, Sept. 10 for lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and for dinner 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Head over to the 20 North Gallery in downtown Greenfield to see “Buzzin’ Bees” featuring bee-themed artwork in a variety of mediums. The gallery, open every Wednesday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., will hold an artists reception from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10.

Then on Saturday, Sept. 11 will be an inaugural Jeep Jam, presented by Greenfield Main Street. The family-friendly event will include music, kids activities and free food on the corner of Main and East streets from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jeep enthusiasts are encouraged to register their vehicles for the show for a chance to win awards. Proceeds benefit four downtown nonprofit organizations: Kenneth Butler Soup Kitchen, The Landing, Greenfield Christian Church and Greenfield Main Street. GREENFIELD — Mt. Comfort Church’s fifth annual Car Show will be held noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11. Cars, trucks and bikes will be featured at the event, held at 3179 N. 600W., Greenfield. Spectators are welcome to come for free. Judging begins at 12:30 p.m. with awards presented at 3 p.m. Smoked BBQ, chips, baked beans, hot dogs and drinks will be on site. GREENFIELD — Play a game of cornhole and raise money for local charities. Relative Impact will host its 14th annual cornhole tournament Sept. 11, raising funds for Hancock Health’s mental health program and Sertoma. The donation to Sertoma will be used to help fund scholarships for youth entering trade school.

The event is $50 per team and includes raffle drawings, 50/50 drawings and more. Lunch, dinner and beer are available for purchase. Check-in is at 10 a.m. Sept. 11 at Heartland Resort, 1613 W. 300N.
