William Richmond

NORTH PORT, FL

William W. “Bill” Richmond, age 48, of North Port, Florida, left us August 20, 2021 to join his Heavenly Father. His profound faith in God and dedication to his family were an inspiration to all of us. He was an honest, humble, and grateful man with an enormous amount of integrity and character.

Bill was born on December 5, 1972 in Franklin, Indiana to William R. ”Rick” Richmond (wife, Kelly) and Sylvia L. (Chumbley) Hudson (husband, Don). He will be forever loved by his wife Nicole M. (Cordell) Richmond and two children Caitlin N. (Richmond) Guinn (husband, Mitch) and William Chase N. Richmond. Bill and Nicole recently celebrated their Silver Wedding Anniversary of 25 years on August 10th, which was a joyful reflection shared with family and friends.

Bill is survived by his mother-in-law Christine Shelton and father-in-law Harlin Cordell (wife, Kristi), his siblings; Tammy, Matt, Michael, Kayla, Ryan (wife, Hannah), and Jacob Richmond and his sisters-in-law; Natina Thalien (husband, Bruno), Natalie Settles (husband, Aaron), and Nakayla Shelton who all loved him very much and will miss him dearly.

Bill ”Uncle Bubba” was the number one fan for all his nieces and nephews; Savannah and Blayze Sarber, Zeke and Zadie Settles, and Ty, Kamri, and Madalyn Richmond.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; William and Joanne Richmond; and Virgil and Margie Chumbley.

We thank God for the wonderful years we were able to spend with Bill and the precious memories that were made. Although he is no longer physically here, his spirit will forever be present in our lives as we always remember, share, and celebrate his amazing life.

Please join us for a Celebration of Life in Bill’s honor on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at 4:30 p.m. at Brandywine Community Church in Greenfield, Indiana to share some of our favorite memories and to commemorate the joy that he brought to others.

In lieu of flowers, please pay forward a random act of kindness in the name of William “Bill” Richmond.
