Mercy Road celebrates anniversary

FORTVILLE — Mercy Road Church Northeast will celebrate its one-year anniversary Sunday.

Services begin at 9:30 and 11 a.m. at 611 Vitality Drive.

Afterward, games, bounce houses, face painting, food, Kona Ice, music and more will be a part of a block party celebration.

Baptisms, bounce houses planned at outdoor service

GREENFIELD — An outdoor baptism service is set for 10 a.m. Sunday at Brandywine Community Church, 1551 E. New Road.

The morning will include the service, bounce houses and family fun.

Those who go are encouraged to bring chairs.

Faith Lutheran plans yard sale

Restoration Conference continues

GREENFIELD — Restoration Conference began Friday and continues Saturday (Aug. 28) at Apostolic Pentecostal Church, 1202 E. Fifth St.

Grantland Gallion will speak in a service at 11 a.m. A breakout session takes place at 2 p.m.

Bobby Weir will speak in a youth service at 4 p.m.

Calvary Tabernacle Sanctuary Choir will sing during the conference.

Church open for prayer Sept. 11

GREENFIELD — Curry’s Chapel Church will have a day of prayer for our country from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 11. The church will be open to anyone who wants to say a prayer.

Lord’s Acre plans comeback

McCORDSVILLE — The annual Lord’s Acre Festival returns Sept. 17-18 at McCordsville United Methodist Church, 6247 W. Broadway. There will be no silent auction this year.

Editorial cartoonist to speak at men’s breakfast
