Mt. Lebanon fish fry is Aug. 21

HANCOCK COUNTY — Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church plans its fish fry from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21.

The menu will include fried fish, French fries, hush puppies, coleslaw, beverage and brownies.

Hot dogs and carryout are available.

A free-will donation will be accepted with the proceeds benefiting missions and special projects.

The church is located at 3447 S. State Road 9, Greenfield.

Baptisms, bounce houses planned at outdoor service

GREENFIELD — An outdoor baptism service is set for 10 a.m. Aug. 29 at Brandywine Community Church, 1551 E. New Road.

The morning will include the service, bounce houses and family fun.

Those who go are encouraged to bring chairs.

Restoration Conference begins Friday

GREENFIELD — Restoration Conference is set for Friday and Aug. 28 at Apostolic Pentecostal Church, 1202 E. Fifth St.

Josh Carson will speak in the service at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

On Aug. 28, Grantland Gallion will speak in a service at 11 a.m. A breakout session takes place at 2 p.m.

Bobby Weir will speak in a youth service at 4 p.m. Aug. 28.

Calvary Tabernacle Sanctuary Choir will sing during the conference.

Church open for prayer Sept. 11

GREENFIELD — Curry’s Chapel Church will have a day of prayer for our country from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 11. The church will be open to anyone who wants to say a prayer.

The church is located at 3488 N. County Road 375E.

Breakfast includes gift card drawing

McCORDSVILLE — The next community breakfast at McCordsville United Methodist Church is set for 7:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday (Aug. 21) at the church, 6247 W. Broadway, McCordsville.

There will be a drawing for a gift card.

The meal, sponsored by the church’s United Methodist Men, features various breakfast favorites. Free-will donations are accepted.
