FORTVILLE — Mt. Vernon Community School Corporation will hold a registration event for its 65+ Club from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, July 19 at the district’s Administrative Service Center, 1806 W. State Road 234, Fortville.

Mt. Vernon is offering any resident living in the district who is at least 65 years old an opportunity to receive a “Mt. Vernon 65+ Club” event pass. The card will provide free admission to most Mt. Vernon Middle School and Mt. Vernon High School events. There are a few exclusions.

The upcoming registration event will include punch and cookies, and attendees will have the opportunity to get to know Superintendent Jack Parker while their passes are being customized.

In-district residents must bring proof of in-district residency (utility bill, mortgage statement, HUD statement or a lease agreement), and identification (drivers license or state-issued identification card).
