GREENFIELD
Terri Leslie (Sailors) Vogel, age 66, of Greenfield, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Community South Hospital. She was born in South Bend, IN on March 18, 1955 to James L. and Bette L. (Cook) Sailors. She graduated from South Bend Washington High School in 1973 and received her bachelors in Criminology from Indiana State University in 1978. Terri married Jim Vogel on April 15, 1978 in South Bend, IN.
She was involved in her family business for 38 years before retiring from Unique Printing & Labels in 2019. Terri enjoyed spending time with childhood friends by shopping and going on vacations. She cherished spending time with her granddaughter, Olivia and driving her Roush Mustang.
Terri is survived by her husband, James A. Vogel, Jr.; son, Kyle (Jennifer) Vogel; daughter, Casey Vogel; and grand-daughter, Olivia; mother-in-law, Pat Vogel; nephews, Jacob Sailors, Clayton Sailors, Tyler Wampler, and Blake Wampler; and a sister, Dixie Sullivan. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Bette Sailors; two brothers, Russ and Bruce Sailors.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 1:00 p.m. Celebrant Alex Adams will be officiating. Burial will follow at Mendon Cemetery in Pendleton.
