GREENFIELD – Connor’s Caring Hands will host a Summer Kick-Off Community Day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. may 29 at the Hancock County Fairgrounds, 620 N. Apple St. The event, a fundraiser to help raise funds for Christmas gift baskets for children in Indiana hospitals, will feature games, food, shopping, a car smash and a bounce house. Traditionally held at the Harrison Home, this year’s event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. June 5 at White River State Park. Funds raised from this event go to children’s education programs at the Presidential Site.
