GREENFIELD – Stillinger’s Family Funeral Home will host a summer Sunset Movie Series beginning on May 29 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 W. Main St. The doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the movie begins at dusk. The May 29 film will be the 2019 live-action version of Disney’s “Aladdin.” Future films include “Holes,” (June 19), “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” (July 10), “Bolt” (Aug. 7) and “Hoosiers” on Sept. 4. GREENFIELD – Connor’s Caring Hands will host a Summer Kick-Off Community Day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. may 29 at the Hancock County Fairgrounds, 620 N. Apple St. The event, a fundraiser to help raise funds for Christmas gift baskets for children in Indiana hospitals, will feature games, food, shopping, a car smash and a bounce house. INDIANAPOLIS – For something completely different, join the folks from the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site for an afternoon of croquet. Traditionally held at the Harrison Home, this year’s event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. June 5 at White River State Park. Funds raised from this event go to children’s education programs at the Presidential Site.
