Fortville-Vernon Township book club to meet
FORTVILLE — The April Book Club selection for the Fortville-Vernon Township Library is “The Word is Murder,” by Anthony Horowitz. Copies of the book are now available at the circulation desk at the library at 625 E. Broadway. The Book Club will meet virtually at 7 p.m. on April 5. Enjoy wine and art at the 305 Wine Garage
FORTVILLE — The 305 Wine Garage, 305 S. Main St., will host an art and wine event at 6:30 p.m. on April 6. The event will feature Emily Snider from Emily’s Backyard Blooms, who will walk participants through how to create a bouquet in a cut wine bottle vase. The cost is $40 per person. Hot Glass Studios to host flower workshop
INDIANAPOLIS — GRT Hot Glass Studios, 6400 Brookville Rd., will offer a hot glass flower workshop from 6 to 8 p.m. on April 13. In this workshop, an instructor will guide participants through studio basics and safety and a demonstration on the class project. Participants can choose colors and sculpt molten glass into a glass flower. Projects must cool down overnight and will be available to pick up two days after the workshop.
