Health inspections Sept. 16-29
The Hancock County Health Department inspects restaurants four times annually and violations are determined as “C” for critical, “NC” for noncritical and “R” for repeated violations. The following inspections are based on information obtained from Retail Food Inspection Reports.
Sept. 16

Type of Inspection: Routine
Violations found: C — sanitizer concentration is above 400 ppm, corrected; NC/R — remove debris/grease/grime floors in corners under some equipment, to be corrected by Oct. 16; C — employee observed touching Saran Wrap that was touching raw hamburger or chicken, then touching ready-to-eat food, ice scoop has debris, corrected; NC — equipment such as tray holder and carts have debris build-up, to be corrected by Oct. 16; hot water is 165 degrees, a danger to employees.
