To the editor:
I voted for Donald Trump in 2016 because I wanted to clean up the swamp. Make no mistake, there was a swamp. If you gave lots of money to either party you got what you wanted: lower taxes for the rich who could afford the large campaign contributions; eliminated environmental rules for your business; no-bid contracts for you, etc.
I was so disappointed that under Trump all of those problems have continued and are perhaps worse.
I do not know if Joe Biden will be better, but I will not reward Trump for breaking his promise.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
