INDIANAPOLIS — Two exhibitions at the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, 500 W. Washington St., originally scheduled to close during the summer have been extended due to the museum’s closure during the pandemic. “Quilts: Uncovering Women’s Stories,” a show that explores quilts as a storytelling medium, includes works by African American, Native American, Asian American and Latino American women. “Quilts” will remain open through Jan. 3, 2021, as part of the museum’s commitment to cultural diversity. An exhibition of bronze sculptures by a renowned Native American artist who is blind, “Please Touch: The Sculptures of Michael Naranjo,” will remain open through Feb. 9. In addition, the Eiteljorg Museum’s permanent Native American art galleries are open during the same hours the museum is open, 10 a.m. — 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
