New Palestine Lions Club hosts Lions Roar 5k and pancake breakfast

NEW PALESTINE — At 9 a.m. Sept. 12, the inaugural Lions Roar 5k will kick off from the Lions Club Building at 4801 S. County Road 500 W. The event will be chipped timed by Fun-Races. Details for registration can be found on the website at nplions.com and on the New Palestine Lions Club Facebook page. Group registration is welcome. Groups with the most registrations will receive one free rental to hold a fundraising event at the Lions Club facility. This event includes a pancake breakfast. Chalk Fest looking for vendors and artists

GREENFIELD — Registration is now open for the 2020 Chalk Fest. The event takes places from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sept. 19 on the Courthouse Plaza. With a theme of “Under the Big Top,” 3-by-3 foot spaces are available for $5. Chalk is provided. Vendors are welcome to reserve a 10-by-10 foot space for $25.
