GREENFIELD — Hancock County Community Organizations Active in Disaster is hosting a series of disaster preparedness workshops over the coming months.
All workshops will be at 3:30 p.m. at the Emergency Operations Center at 640 S. Franklin St., Greenfield. The plan is to finish each session in 45 minutes.
The subject of the first workshop is firm, while the others are tentative. The session on March 5 will focus on shelter with transportation and pet care; the session on March 24 will be command and control with communications; a discussion on April 16 will focus on food and hydration with warehousing; and the meeting on May 5 will include a discussion about volunteer reception centers with long-term recovery groups.
