State park properties hosting such events include Potato Creek State Park (North Liberty), Brown County State Park (Nashville), Mounds State Recreation Area (Brookville), Ouabache State Park (Bluffton), Clifty Falls State Park (Madison) and Harmonie State Park (New Harmony), to name a few.

You’ll also find Halloween-themed events at Starve Hollow State Recreation Area (Vallonia), as well as the Division of Outdoor Recreation’s Redbird State Recreation Area (Linton) for off-road vehicles.

For details regarding a Halloween event near you, or one that’s worth a road trip, see stateparks.IN.gov/3282.htm, under “Fall Festivals at a Glance.”

Visitors can come for one activity, stay for a day or spend the entire weekend at most events.
