Event to raise funds to fight domestic violence
GREENFIELD — Alternatives Inc. is hosting a “Strike Out Domestic Violence” bowling night fundraiser Saturday in Anderson.
Participants in the event can bowl three games at Championship Lanes for a cost of $20 for adults and $10 for children. Raffles for Visa gift cards and other items will also be offered. Doors open at 5 p.m. and bowling begins at 5:30 p.m.
Alternatives executive director Ashley Waterbury-Carpenter said proceeds from the event will go to fund general operating costs of the organization, which works to provide services to domestic violence victims and prevention programming.
