SHIRLEY — The town of Shirley reports its drinking water system met or exceeded all federal and state requirements in 2018.

The town recently mailed its annual drinking water quality report to every utility customer in Shirley, as required by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management. The purpose of the report is to inform utility customers of the quality of their water by detailing the results of various tests.

If any Shirley water utility customers have not received the report, or if they have questions concerning the report, they are encouraged to contact the utility office at 765-738-6561 or stop by Shirley Town Hall, 409 Main St., between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. (the office is closed noon to 1 p.m. for lunch) Monday through Friday.
