Bad weather postpones
sectional, regional action
While several sectional and regional events took place on Tuesday, inclement weather forced the postponement of both the tennis regional and New Palestine’s softball sectional.
Mt. Vernon’s girls tennis team is now slated to face Hamilton Southeastern at 4:30 p.m. today in the North Central regional. The two softball games scheduled for Tuesday at New Palestine will now take place at the same scheduled times tonight — Indian Creek vs. Rushville at 5 p.m. and New Palestine vs. Connersville to follow at roughly 7 p.m.
