Brenda Sue Aldridge, 68, of Rushville, IN, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, July 9, 2018, in Columbus, IN.

Brenda “Mert” was born in Greensburg, IN on June 24, 1950, to Martha Jane (Hoban) and Meredith Kuhn.

She was a graduate of the final senior class (1968) of the Milroy High School. Brenda married Mike Aldridge on Dec. 19, 1970 at the Moscow Christian Church.

She worked several years for Wilson Oil Company and Indiana Gas (Vectren) performing various administrative duties. Brenda retired from Vectren in 2011.

She was a current member of the Center Christian Church where she assisted in the nursery and participated on the Prayer Team. Brenda was also a former member of Moscow Christian Church where she was a pianist during church services.

She was a loving caretaker for her family and an active participant for Meals On Wheels. Brenda was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing, mowing her yard and working with her flowers, but most especially, she loved attending various events for her grandchildren with her husband.

In addition to her husband, those left to cherish her memory are her children, Jeff (Amanda) Aldridge, Greenfield, IN, Jason (Heather) Aldridge, Shelbyville, IN, Amy Aldridge, Rushville, IN, and her five beloved granddaughters (Kayla, Alayna, Bethany, Renee, & Corinne).

In addition to her parents, she is also survived by her four brothers, Terry (Kristi) Kuhn, Tim (Kathy) Kuhn, Eric (Gina) Kuhn, Brian (Karen) Kuhn, & her sister Cindy (Danny) Bennett. She was preceded in death by her brother Tony Kuhn.

A celebration of life service will be at 10 AM Friday, July 13th, 2018, at Center Christian Church with Reverend Daryl Denny officiating. Friends may call Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Center Christian Church from 4-8 PM. She will be laid to rest at East Hill Cemetery in Rushville.
