New Palestine and Shelbyville managed to get 3½ innings of their baseball doubleheader in Friday night before inclement weather forced the game to be suspended. The Dragons used a big third inning to jump ahead 9-5, which is where the game will resume today at 1 p.m. Game 2 of the doubleheader is slated to start after the conclusion of the opener.
