Why are you running for office?

I’m running for recorder because I have worked in the assessor’s office for approximately 12 years now and have six years of experience in a close-working relationship with the recorder’s office. I believe I am ready for a leadership role at this point in my life.

What makes you a qualified candidate for the position?

I feel that I am qualified because of my previous officeholder experience, plus I am already well-versed on the software that is used to record historical documents, as well as the processes that are involved. I have good rapport with people and believe I would create a positive environment with not only the public, but with my co-workers as well.

What are your top three goals for the position?

1. I will be committed to continue the highest quality of service to all who have specific recording needs. 2. I will adhere to a tight budget while ensuring we have the specific resources needed to provide the highest quality of service. 3. I will keep apprised on all legislative action.
