Youth talent on display at KidsPlay fundraiser
GREENFIELD – Registration for the Hancock County Youth Talent Show opens April 1. Performers will compete in two age brackets: 9 to 13 and 14 to 18. A winner will be selected from each group. Participation is limited to 12 acts for each age category. The show is hosted by 2016 Riley Festival Queen Rylie Gendron as a give-back-to-the-community event. All proceeds from the event go to benefit KidsPlay Inc. children’s theater. The deadline to submit a registration form and a YouTube audition video is May 1. Disney musical favorite focus of Broadway camp
FORTVILLE – The Mt. Vernon High School Theatre Department will offer a Broadway Kids Camp June 26 through 30 at Mt. Vernon High School, 8112 N. County Road 200W. The “Lion King”-themed camp is open to ages 6 through 14 and features vocal music, drumming, choreography, acting through storytelling and character development. Theater troupe announces open auditions for comedy

GREENFIELD – Garden plots are available to individuals and groups at the Greenfield Community Garden at Brandywine Park, 900 E. Davis Road. Each plot measures 12 x 16 feet.
