Police surround home in Indigo Springs

UPDATE: Police say the suspect was found dead inside the home. More information will be provided as it becomes available. 

GREENFIELD — Police officers have surrounded a home in Indigo Springs and have called Indiana State Police for backup.
A man in the home in the 600 block of Runnymede Ct. is accused of a crime; he did not answer the door when police came to question him, and officers said they were warned he was heavily armed.

Officers are awaiting a specialized robot from State Police to enter the home securely and see whether the suspect is inside. Detectives said his car is in the driveway.
