Mary Lavern (Woods) Rambo, 91, of Greenfield, died Thursday, March 26, 2015, at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born on May 28, 1923, as the daughter of Alfred A. and Elizabeth (Strickland) Woods.
Mary is survived by her sons, Roy Rambo and James Flack; daughter Lessie Roland; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred A. and Elizabeth (Strickland) Woods; husband Grover Rambo; son Danny Flack; and brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2015, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. U.S. 40, Greenfield, IN, 46140. A funeral service will take place at 8:00 p.m., immediately following the visitation. Pastor Chris Braschler will be officiating.
