GREENFIELD — This month, Husk Foods is set to partner with Indiana-based Brooke’s Naturals to produce its baking mixes.
Brooke’s Candy Company (Brooke’s Naturals’ parent company) had its handmade chocolate placed in the gift baskets at the Grammys and has since ramped up its production.
Its kitchen is too small, so the company is partnering with Husk Foods to produce its baking mixes so it can focus on chocolates.
The partnership allows Husk Foods to fill a void of its own. From September to June, the company’s factory is underutilized because it’s not processing as many local vegetables.
