Judy M. (Walters) Fox, 63, of Upland, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at 8:30 p.m., with family by her side. She was born in Muncie, the daughter of the late Paul and Altie “Mildred” (Ring) Walters.

In 1970, she graduated from Pendleton Heights High School. Later, she received her life license in business from Ball State University.

She married the love of her life, Dennis Fox, on Dec. 19, 1970, in Markleville. He survives.

Mrs. Fox was very active with the Eastbrook Community Schools Corporation for many years substitute teaching, selling tickets for many ball games, sponsoring various school functions, a member of the band boosters, athletic boosters, and was a secretary in the Eastbrook Junior High School office from 2004-2015. She attended Upland Community Church.

She enjoyed being an encouragement to her sons during their school years, and she let that overflow to many other students, co-workers, and friends, as she gave of herself to others. She had been a wonderful caregiver to her husband for the past several years while juggling work and other responsibilities. She also enjoyed reading, cross stitching, and spending time with her grandbabies and family.

In addition to her husband of 44 years, Dennis, survivors include sons Brandon (Jessica) Fox of Indianapolis, Brennon Fox of Indianapolis, and Brett (Kayla) Fox of Fort Wayne; sister Joan Snodgress of Fishers; and grandchildren, Makayla, Zoë, and Levi.

At the family’s request, in lieu of flowers, they would prefer that memorials be made to the Eastbrook Athletic Boosters or the Eastbrook Band Boosters, 560 S. County Road 900E, Marion, Indiana, 46953.
