Brandywine’s Best elects officers at recent meeting

HANCOCK COUNTY — The February meeting of Brandywine’s Best was called to order at 4 p.m. by last year’s president, Lauren Seib. The American pledge and 4-H pledge were both led by Lauren Henry.

Roll call was taken by Lauren Seib by a response of what you did last summer. New club members then introduced themselves by saying their name, grade, school and what 4-H project they were most looking forward too this year.

Elections of officers were conducted. This year’s vice president is Addison Hill; the new new secretary is Lauren Henry, and president is Lauren Seib.

Devotion officers and recreation officers were then elected. Discussion was had about workshops and future community service projects.

Demonstrations were then conducted by Lauren Seib, Addison Hill and Reese Hill. Lauren Seib demonstrated show choir, Addison demonstrated how to write a thank you note, and Reese demonstrated how to vaccinate a pig.

This meeting was adjourned at 5 p.m by 4-H leader Heather Hill.

The next meeting will take place at 5 p.m. March 1 at Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church.
