Michael L. Walda, age 58, former Knightstown resident and businessman died on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011, at Ambassador Health Care in Centerville, Ind. Mr. Walda was born on Jan. 24, 1953, in Rushville, Ind., to Robert and Mildred (Broyels) Walda.
He had been employed at several Ford and Chrysler Dealerships as a Parts Manager.
He is survived by his father of Cumberland; sons, Brian Michael Walda of New Castle, Kurtis Robert Walda of Indianapolis; sister, Sue Nigh of Cumberland; and two grandchildren.
Mr. Walda was preceded in death by his Mother and brother-n-law.
Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 23, 2011, at the Todd Funeral Home in Knightstown. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Randy Gross Officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery.
