James Wendell Estes, age 70, of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011. He was born on Sept.19, 1941, in Ky., to James L. and Mary M. Estes.
James served his country in the U.S. Army for 20 years, retiring as a Master Sergeant. He worked as a systems analyst for several banks for 20 years.
James is survived by his beloved wife, Roseann (Limeberry) Estes; children, Linda, Terri Lynn, Jimmy, Dawn, Bill, and Mike; sisters, Wilma, Geneva, Shirley, Julie, Millie, and Mary Jo; grandchildren, Cody, Braeden, Gabe, Cameron, Mason, Heather, Austin, Dennis, and Eric; and one great-granddaughter.
He is preceeded in death by his daughter, Debra; sisters, Laura, and Jean; and brother Eric.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, Dec. 19, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, with visitation from 11 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery.
Memorials in James’ name may be made to Riley Children Hospital.
