Dale E. Wolski, 77, passed away on Saturday evening June 11, 2011 at the Glen Oaks Health Campus in New Castle, Ind. A son of the late Jacob Wolski II and Audrey (Love) Wolski, Dale was born near Anderson, Ind. in Madison County on Feb. 25, 1934.

Dale was raised in Shirley and moved from there when he was 21 years old. He had worked in mechanical repair for Hall Chevrolet in Knightstown and Wilkinson, Don Davis Chrysler- Plymouth in Knightstown, the Salvation Army in Indianapolis where he was a warehouse supervisor, Roberts Pipeline Construction in Sulphur Springs and retired from PFM (Preventive Fleet Maintenance in Indianapolis. Dale was a member of the Salvation Army and the Indiana Blacksmith’s Association.

Survivors include his 3 children, Beth (Jay D.) Carr, Matthew (Jennifer) Wolski and Susan (Jim) Macy all of Spiceland; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Dale was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Melissa Gayle Wolski; 1 son, Andrew Wolski; 5 brothers , Jacob James Wolski III, Walter, Donald E., Robert and Richard Wolski; 2 sisters, Audrey Snyder and Anna Kennedy.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of services at 3 p.m. on Wednesday June 15 , 2011 at the Condo & Son Funeral Home- 130 S. Main Street/ Wilkinson, IN 46186. Salvation Army Officer Israel Vasquez will officiate. Burial will follow at the Harlan Cemetery. The Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
