John L. Reed, age 79, a resident of Anderson, died on Monday, March 14, 2011, at St. Johns Hospital in Anderson. Born Jan. 19, 1932, in Morehead, Ky., and is the son of the late Luke and Cynthia Adeline (Crouch) Reed.
Surviving include his wife, H. Lorene Livingston (Holliman) Reed of Anderson; three sons, John A. (Virginia) Reed of Jacksonville, Fla., Terry A. Reed of Fishers, Christopher E. Reed of Honolulu, Hawaii; two daughters, Tracey J. Borszem of Greenwood; Cynthia A. (Christopher) Farley of Honolulu , Hawaii.; three stepsons, Jeffrey (Beth) Livingston of Frisco, TX., James (Vickie) Livingston of Anderson, Phillip (Jennifer) Livingston of Anderson; eight grandchildren; and ten step grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his 1st wife, Marcia Reed; three brothers, Roy, Ivan and Orville Reed; and a sister, Lola Gladys Brown.
Friends may call at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson, on Friday, March 18, 2011, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2011, at Columbus Ave Church of Christ 4620 Columbus Ave, Anderson, Ind. with Jim Harrison and Jim Flowers officiating. A Military graveside burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson, Ind.
