Debbie Jean Arend, age 51, of Ingalls, passed away on March 3, 2011, at St. Vincent’s Hospital Northeast in Fishers. She was on born Sept. 15, 1959 in Seymour, Ind.
Debbie worked as a cashier and was a devoted mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Michael E. Arend whom she married on June 24, 2006; children, Joseph Paul “JP” Dowell, Richard Wood, and Shaun (Nikol Hutnik) Wood, all of Ingalls; grandchildren, Coby and Ashton Wood; parents, Leo and Jean Dowell of Ingalls; step-daughters, Lauri Arend and Jody Arend, both of Lebanon; brothers, William E. (Janice) Duttlinger of Anderson; John W. (Jean) Duttlinger of Markleville; and Robert L. (Brandy) Jenkins of Greenfield; and sister, Betty (Tim) Isley of Mo.
She was preceded in death by her biological mother, Lula Belle Jenkins.
Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at Seals Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Fortville.
