Robert Paul Bennett, 80, Anderson, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010, at Community Hospital after an extended illness. Bob was born Feb.16, 1930, in Lakewood, Ohio, and resided in Anderson for the last four years.
He retired as owner and president of R.R.B. Plastics, Inc. In 2004, Bob was honored for 24 years of service to Newmar Corporation. Bob was recognized for being a model for all of us to follow living the Ten Commandents of Total Customer Satisfaction. His passion was for sales.
He is survived by his wife whom he married Oct. 16, 1982, Roberta (Grohe) Bennett; daughters, Linda (Larry) Myers, Laura Brown, and Lisa (Jeff) Muegge; brother, Richard (Sara) Bennett; sister, Caroline (Ken) Russell; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles W. & Pauline (Bodenlouse) Bennett; and first wife, Martha "Marty" Bennett in 1980.
Visitation will be from12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 19, 2010, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd Street, Anderson. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, 2010, at the funeral home, with Pastor Mark Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson.
