ROCKY HILL, Connecticut — Police are investigating the death of a suburban Hartford infant.

Rocky Hill police say the baby's parents brought the infant from a home in the town's west end to Velocity Urgent Care, where paramedics and facility staff tried to save the baby's life. Police say the child was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Rocky Hill Police Department and the medical examiner are looking into what caused the infant's death. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
