JACKSON, Mississippi — Mississippi's attorney general says a Water Valley man has been given a 20-year-sentence in a child exploitation case.

Attorney General Jim Hood said Thursday that 44-year-old Billy Wayne Cobb pleaded guilty this week before Yalobusha Circuit Court Judge Smith Murphey.

Cobb is to serve 5 years in prison, five years of supervised release and 10 years of unsupervised probation.

Hood said Cobb downloaded hundreds of images and videos of child pornography from the internet using a file sharing network.
