DURHAM, North Carolina — Duke has moved quarterback Nico Pierre to running back after injuries to three tailbacks.

Coach David Cutcliffe said Tuesday that redshirt junior Jela Duncan is out indefinitely after partially tearing his right pectoral muscle during practice one day earlier.

Cutcliffe says redshirt sophomore Joseph Ajeigbe (uh-JEE'-bee) and sophomore Shaun Wilson are being held out of contact drills with lower body injuries, but adds that they don't appear to be long-term injuries.

Pierre redshirted as a freshman last year and was the third QB behind starter Thomas Sirk and redshirt sophomore Parker Boehme.

Cornerback Bryon Fields, a 13-game starter in 2014, also is out with an unspecified leg injury.
