NEW YORK — A 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting outside a New York City nightclub that killed a woman and injured two others.
Police said Tuesday Dalone Jamison, of the Bronx, was arrested on murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon charges. Information on his lawyer was not immediately available.
Police say Jamison had been thrown out of Motivo, in Manhattan's Flatiron District early Monday after arguing with another patron. They say he told bouncers he'd come back with a gun, and he did, firing into a crowd outside.
Twenty-four-year-old Walikque Faussett died after being shot in the back.
The other victims were 30 and 25. They were listed serious but stable condition.
Police had said they don't believe the women he shot were his intended targets.
This story has been corrected to show that the suspect's name is Dalone Jamison, not Jamison Dalone.
