CONCORD, New Hampshire — New Hampshire residents can dispose of unwanted or expired prescription drugs at police departments around the state.

Saturday is the ninth annual National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.

Drop-off sites will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Drug Enforcement Administration says unwanted medication in homes can be misused or abuse.

Collection sites are listed online at http://www.dea.gov .
