TUCSON, Arizona — Police are investigating the shooting death of man whose body was found on a Tucson street.
Police spokesman Brandon Tatum says officers were sent to investigate reports of a man lying in a road on Friday shortly before 3 p.m. near East 32nd Street and South Fremont Avenue.
Tatum says police found the unidentified victim, who had clear signs of gunshot injuries.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Homicide and gang detectives are still investigating. Witnesses say the man had been shot multiple times by an unidentified suspect, who fled the scene in a sedan.
