    COOKEVILLE, Tennessee — Craig Bradshaw scored 17 points and Evan Bradds had 16 points with nine rebounds as Belmont beat Tennessee Tech 88-82 on Saturday night.

    Reese Chamberlain, Taylor Barnette and Nick Smith added 14 points apiece for the Bruins (17-10, 9-5 Ohio Valley Conference).

    Bradshaw sank a 3-pointer early in the first half to help Belmont to a 15-6 start and the Bruins led 43-36 at the break.

    In the second half, Smith and Barnette combined for a trio of 3-pointers to make it 68-59 with 11:02 to play but Tennessee Tech battled back on a 17-4 run to take a 76-72 lead with 4:58 remaining. The Bruins answered with a Smith 3-pointer and a tip shot by Chamberlain to re-take the lead, 77-76, and Chamberlain, Bradds and Bradshaw kept the Bruins on top in the final minutes for the win.

    Torrance Rowe led the Golden Eagles (12-15, 4-9) with 24 points.
