WASHINGTON — The Senate has confirmed President Barack Obama's picks to be ambassadors to South Sudan and five other nations in Europe.

By voice vote, the Senate on Wednesday confirmed:

—Mary Catherine Phee of Illinois as ambassador to South Sudan.

—Charles Adams Jr. of Maryland as ambassador to Finland.

—Nancy Bikoff Pettit of Virginia as ambassador to Latvia.

—Gregory Delawie of Virginia as ambassador to Kosovo.

—Ian Kelly of Illinois as ambassador to Georgia.

—Julieta Valls Noyes of Virginia as ambassador to Croatia.
