PRINCETON, Louisiana — Authorities say a Bossier Parish father and son have been arrested for production of methamphetamines at their home in Princeton.
Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington said in a news release 43-year-old Luther W. Davis Jr., and his son, 25-year-old Luther W. Davis III, were arrested Wednesday.
They face multiple drug charges. In addition, the elder Davis was booked with resisting by flight.
Whittington says deputies went to the home to execute a warrant out of Cass County, Texas, on Davis Jr., for probation violation.
While deputies were attempting to arrest him, he fled into the woods, but was soon located and taken into custody.
Whittington says deputies found devices and chemicals used in the manufacturing of meth inside the home.
Online jail records do not list an attorney for the Davis's.
