MADRID — Sergio Ramos has returned to Real Madrid's squad after being sidelined for the past five weeks with a leg injury.
The Spain defender has been out since tearing a muscle in his left leg during a 2-1 win over Sevilla on Feb. 4.
He is back in time for Madrid's league match against Levante on Sunday.
Madrid has struggled without Ramos, winning only two of five league matches and relinquishing the league lead to Barcelona. It also stumbled into the Champions League quarterfinals after edging Schalke 5-4 on aggregate.
Ramos should also be fit to join Spain for its European championship qualifier against Ukraine on March 27.
