TALLAHASSEE, Florida — Florida's voter registration deadline is here.
Those wanting to vote in the November elections must register to vote by Monday. Floridians who register to vote after Monday will not be allowed to vote in the upcoming election.
The Nov. 4 election includes the race for governor. Voters will also pick the three members of the state Cabinet and decide constitutional amendments dealing with the environment, medical marijuana and the state Supreme Court.
There were nearly 11.9 million registered voters in the state as of August according to statistics maintained by the Florida Division of Elections.
Florida residents who are 18 years old and U.S. citizens can register. Convicted felons cannot register unless they have had their civil rights restored.
