JACKSON, Mississippi — The Mississippi Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments on the campus of Mississippi Valley State University this month.
The court will be on the Itta Bena campus on March 31. The court periodically hears cases on college campuses as a teaching tool for students and the public.
At Mississippi Valley, a three-judge panel will hear an appeal from Charles Kuebler, who was sentenced to life in prison in Hinds County in 2011 for the death of his girlfriend.
Prosecutors say 28-year-old Tamara Stuckey was fatally shot on June 30, 2010, at Kuebler's apartment in Jackson.
The arguments will be heard at the auditorium of the W.A. Butts Social Science Building.
The case is among dozens the Appeals Court will consider during its March-April term. Decisions are expected later.
