CHESTER, Pennsylvania — Authorities say a gunman opened fire at a crowded basketball court in a violence-wracked city near Philadelphia, injuring five people, including two teenagers.
Police in Chester say the gunfire sent people scrambling for cover at the court at about 12:15 a.m. Wednesday.
WPVI-TV reports that a 14-year-old girl was struck in the right foot and a 14-year-old boy hit in the right leg. Three adults were also injured.
Officials said all five were taken to Crozer-Chester Medical Center, where they were listed in stable condition.
Chester police and Delaware County detectives are investigating but haven't announced any arrests in the case.
