ARCADIA, California — Prospect Park won the $58,000 feature for 3-year-olds by 5 ¼ lengths Friday at Santa Anita.

Ridden by Kent Desormeaux, Prospect Park ran one mile in 1:35.67 and paid $9.80, $5 and $5.

St. Joe Bay returned $5 and $4.40, while Rockinatten was another length back in third and paid $7 to show. Odds-on favorite The Gomper finished fourth.

The victory, worth $34,800, increased Prospect Park's career earnings to $86,570, with two wins in five starts.

Winning trainer Clifford Sise says he will be considering different races nationwide to help Prospect Park garner qualifying points for the Kentucky Derby.
