BILLINGS, Montana — An 81-year-old Montana Women's Prison inmate, who was serving time for the death of her stepfather, has died in a Billings hospital.

Prison officials said Donna June Enright of Great Falls died Thursday evening in a Billings hospital. She had been hospitalized since Sunday.

Enright and her brother, Roy Link of Sun River, were convicted of murdering their stepfather, Leonard Theis, in October 1996. Prosecutors alleged they drugged Theis and set fire to his mobile home in Stanford to collect on an insurance policy. Enright was sentenced to 75 years in prison and Link was sentenced to 25.

Enright argued the fire was accidental and she was wrongly convicted.
