LOVELAND, Colorado — Loveland is getting ready to begin its annual Valentine's Day re-mailing program.

Each year, people from around the world send their valentines through the northern Colorado city in order to get them stamped with the city's romantic postmark. They're then sent on to their final destinations. Volunteer cupids also stamp a poem called a "cachet" that changes each year on every envelope.

Organizers plan to unveil this year's poem and the dates for this year's re-mailing program in Loveland on Tuesday.

The program started in 1946.
