GULFPORT, Mississippi — Police say a Gulfport woman is accused of using a hospice patient's identity to set up an account for cable services.
Gulfport police Sgt. Damon McDaniel tells The Sun Herald (http://bit.ly/1BTgxd5 ) 37-year-old Melissa Nicole Suttles was arrested Tuesday after identifying her as the one who used a woman's personal information without her permission.
McDaniel says a complaint filed in January said the victim did not know who had used her information to set up a cable account.
He says Suttles was working for a hospice service assigned to care for the woman.
Suttles was booked at the Harrison County jail and was released on a $50,000 bond.
Jail officials couldn't provide the name of a defense attorney to comment on the charges.
