ATTLEBORO, Massachusetts — Massachusetts state police say a 65-year-old man from Natick is dead after he lost control of a jeep he was driving on Route 95, left the roadway and crashed into trees in Attleboro.

Police say troopers responded to the crash, north of Exit 2, at 2:15 a.m. Saturday. The driver was alone in the vehicle. He died at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.

Police did not immediately release the name of the victim because his family had not been notified.

Authorities say the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
